Those are good valves.Peterock is one selling them on Ebay.I would not reuse that piston.I think Thumper racing gave you bad advice.Did they even split the crank?

Got rest of parts in today. Gonna put in new CP 97mm piston, new valves, have shims for adjustments, etc. Gonna get it together Saturday and if I get lucky, may get it in quad on Sunday.

On another note, 2000ex has a 97mm piston, but does anyone have a 97mm cylinder? Or can a stocker be bored to work for it? If this works out I'd like to build the roller I got with this one. Has everything but a main case, crank, and piston/cylinder. Rest is there is bags/boxes. Would like to get this going and then start on that if all pans out.

What u have is a 97mm piston and sleeve. That sleeve looked in decent shape maybe just needs a hone and you are good to go

That's what has already been done. I'm going to look for a second set as a backup if the thing runs good and rips which is why I'm asking about a new cylinder. Have a stock brand new set from previous owner for second quad but would want some extra power, unless a stroker is easily available. I've seen them, but are stroker kits easily available? I actually found a crank in the box of parts that looks brand new. Says ATK crank on it with sharpie but would want to tear down for bearing, but is there a kit for rod and such to stroke these around?
