Good tip for you guys... spray some WD40 down on the clay so it doesn't stick to the head!!

Cool!Make sure you take your piston out to get any that may have got in the rings.Usually when I do this I do one valve at a time with clay spread as thin as possible.Too much clay could easily wreck a valve or even crack the head from being in between head and deck.

It looks like you have way too much clay on the piston. I would be removeing the piston and sleeve to be sure you didn't get any on the side of the piston.

hey i can a test to his motor running it started right up....and made really cool flames under the gas tank with no exhaust on lol...i do habve to say the inside of these motors are not as complex as i thought and i dropped my motor today and it was way easier then expected....next is my motor hahaha time to check for what 3 years of riding without the motor being removed looks like

Yea... quadman22 make sure you bring the rest of your motor when you pick up your head.... I will finish putting your motor together... see if I can get yours to start right up!! Looks like also this week cdalemx301.... motor... clean.. open up do some checks.. perhaps a cheap stud update.. close back up and get you back up and running....

Man I love working on these motors!!! Fun stright forward... when you have all the correct tools and parts!!!:deal:
