It's the black cover on the shifter side and the beige cover it is bolted to.

Is this still considered a good way to quiet the motor down? Any problems yet?

Ive had no issues . Just doing the clutch cover makes a world of difference. Im heading out to the dyno in a few minutes . Should be scraping engine parts off the floor around noon.. Come on down if you get the chance. smile.gif

Heard there weren't any pieces. I tried to make it but didn't get back until about 12. figured it be too late by the time I would get there.

Its not for lack of trying. The little feller took all C27 could throw at it. We even dabbled with timing a little to see if it would detonate. No luck. sad.gif

Wondering if the extra insulation will keep the engine running hotter? I will start with externally coating my clutch and plastic covers with some high temp, rubberized, etc spray on stuff....
