I have a few questions regarding the valve cover problem.
Is it safe to use the valve cover even when pitted? Mine has some pitting, but I don't think it is too bad.
Also who has everyone been using to get the powdercoat done? I had thought about using someone local, but I have not seen a cover that was powdercoated. Is the entire cover powdercoated or can just the damaged side be done? If the entire thing is done wouldn't that cause some problems getting the rubber gaskets to work properly?
Last, I had read that the water pump impeller has changed. I have an 02 cannibal. My impeller is black and appears to be plastic. While I have the cover off is this something that needs to be changed?
Thanks
