confused

ok so ya this is my second thread and i have only had a cannondale for 2 days but i cant figure out what that little box infront of the air filter is could someone fill me in please?

oh boy....that is the ECU. Please just start reading the forums. You have a lot to catch up on.

The ECU is the computer that controls the EFI and ignition. Do you have one with two large electrical connectors or one? Make sure that the vacuum hose is plugged into it and check the vac. hoses that go from there to a T under the airbox from the T one goes up to the airbox and one goes down to the fuel pressure regulator these are notorious for dry rotting especially at the fittings where they have to stretch to go on.

Then you have the 1000 ECU that is the good one you can program with the d&m kit.
