my buddy needs some help

is there anyone on here that lives in north east ohio (medina) that know a thing or to about dales my buddys havin trouble getting his to start/run and his battery doesnt hold a charge thanks

Install a new battery. Then use a volt meter, and check it at the battery when the bike is running. Rev it up and check your voltage, should be 13-14v. If not check stator wires first.
