Gearing

So I put 18s on my Cannibal...Bumped up to a 14T front and still have the stock rear on is it a 42t? What is recomended for rear size should i run a 40 or keep it at 42? Also what size chain will i need with a sprocket change

mike i run 14/39 for most. 14 /42 would be for like supercross lots of bottom not top end like you described in your other thread try to think like ten speed is how i do it little front big back pedal like **** go no where fast big front little back pedal long strokes go like ****

I run 14/38 on my bikes and sometimes will switch to a 40 for a small/tight track.

John and doug you are both runnin big motors right? will a stock motor be able to run a 39 rear?

I was running a stock motor and was runing 14/38, but will probably go with 15/38 with the 450.

I run a 13/39, with the timbo stroker and it throws my big *** around the mx track just fine. pulls the 40 good too.

14/39 stock chain will fit.

mike if i remember right i believe its 92 links i usaully order 100 links and cut to fit
