fault code

I have a code that cam up and i done konw what it is MIF lamp open fault any ideas

I don't even know what that is, but it makes me think of MILFS everytime I see it!!!

Basically,
It is just stating that it doesn't see the map select or Diagnostic lights plugged in and thinks they are missing. If you had them installed and saw this code, then it would concern you. Otherwise, don't worry about it.

P.S. since I've installed my status lights, the code has disappeared.
