440 cannibal problems

#1 Post by gfk51 »

hi,

i have 2 problems with my cannibal

it's new atv ( never used )

1. the motor start perfect or, when i accelerate he stop, when i ride he don't want go to rpm, he stop and restart.
I checked new gas, or i don't understand.

2. the fan start when i start engin 1mn, the radiator is cold or the fan start, the level of coolant is good and when the atv hot the coolant go out the bottle.

i think it's probleme in a coolant circuit, i was checked hose and radiator , it's perfect, i will see the impeller ?

Thanks to help and happy new year

With this quad being brand new, it has sat in the crate or at the dealer with the original coolant in it. I would be looking at the coolant bleed line off of the water pump cover. I'll bet it's plugged solid. I would also check for all the factory updates to have been done or do them from the tech section of this site. The stalling problem could be an old hex code in the ECU.
