Which Evans?

I'm gonna go ahead and drop the hammer and run Evans in my 05' Z400 because of the magnesium cover. Can anyone tell me which Evans to use?

Should I use the NPG+ or do I need the NPG-R? I'd rather use the NPG+ because I've heard you can leave it in longer. The NPG-R has to be changed every year I'm told. How long can you go on the NPG+.

Thanks in advance. You Cannondale guys have been real friendly/helpful to a non-cannondaler. wink.gif

Supposedly the NGP+ is made for our applications sepcifically.
At least thats waht the Evans rep told me.

I have that in my Quad. Mooneyes is a great place to order online.

You can leave it in there until the next rebuild, and even re-use it...... don't they say 100,000 miles in vehicles? Anyway, not a concern.

I was hoping I could get away with not having to buy the prep fluid.... I saw in one of the archived posts that I could use Sierra coolant as a flushing agent? Is this true? Will it work? I think it might have even been your post Canniboomer?

Dont need the prepping agent. Go through and blow out all passages and drain the radiator 100% . A shop vac with a small hose on it does the trick. Tip the quad on its side towards where drain hole.
