hey everyone...i have heard lots of dif opinions on fuels to run. ive got an 03 cannondalee with a timbo terminator 450 kit in it and the guy b4 me was running 110. but mechanics have told me i can run 91 but will just loose some power but no harm to the engine. im thinking a 91 with a booster. i really cant afford riding this thing running 110 all the time.....maybe when im at the sand drags or doin a race but not just for a trail/dune ride. the cheapest i can get it which is pretty good is like 5.50 a gallon for vp110. so whats everyones suggestions on 91 vs 110. if 91 should i run an octane booster if so what kind/how much. thanks alot josh

by the way tomorrow night will be my first ride on the dale!

If your compresion ratio is lower than 12/1 then you will be fine with 93.

I wonder what the compression is on my timbo 467 then because I just run 93 octane?

id love to run 110 or around that but its so expensive....im a college kid on a tight budget with a crazy passion to ride all the time and there is no way i will be afford to ride that much paying for 110 especially goin on long trips to the dunes or something. so yea i hear ya on that one cjenkins id love to run 93

I usually combine 93 and 110 for an inbetween mixture. But about all I do is race and not long rides, so not as bad on the wallet. Always had good luck and everything running great w/that combo.

Timbo makes the comp ratio to whatever you order.

I have never run anything but 93 on all my four strokes. As long as you don't exceed 12 to 1 compression or run highly advanced timing you don't need race fuels.
