Ok....was out ridin saturday.

Engine ran like a rapped ape...

Drag raced a few times and was dead even w/ my buddies 488 YFZ w/ porting.

So we stopped...took a break..

well went out riding again..

quad started..rode for about 5-10min...on anf off wide open...fast paced trails.,..


well we went to turn around to take another trail and it kinda bogged and actually felt like something was binding up the rear end..

then it stalled..

restarted...was kinda hard starting and when it fired up ran like chit.

idling real low rpms and whenever i hit the throttle it would bog and be choppy...i tried to put in gear and it shut off..

tried again..same thing

tried one more time....nothing..won't even start.

I have no faults in the D&M....cleaned the plug..checked connections..

nothing.

it just turns over and occasially throws a lil pop and a flame out the silencer.


whats the dealio?

I was just thinking if it seized a rod would it still crank over and would it go so quickly or get progressively worse, I never wait for a rod bearing to go hence my HUGE TIMBO bill every couple of months

I 4got to mention..

this is a Unicorn...Falicon,JE(high comp.),ported HDC engine....

has maybe 13hrs on it.

What kind of crank? Stock or updated? I would go after the flywheel first, sounds like that.

I'd of figured FALICON would have stuck out like a sore thumb...

I'll check the flywheel

if it is spun...whats to say a new one won't?
