Injector removal

I seem to be having a problem with removing the injectors. My motor is ready to come out except I can't seem to remove the injectors from the intake ports. I thought they were supposed to just slide out. I have removed the metal retaining clip, and the wiring. If anyone can give me some tips. thanks

They can be a pain sometimes. Have a friend LIGHTLY tap upwards on them with a hammer and flat-end punch while you pull on them. They'll usually come on out. When you go to put them back in, be sure and lubricate the o-rings on the injectors so they will slide in easier.

A little spray silicone or any lube does wonders. Just hose them down and give em a wiggle.
