a friend of mine has a speed that when it gets hot starts cutting out.What would cause this?Changed fuel and checked all connections.

check where the fuel line is routed...if it's routed above the engine then you're vaporlocking...reroute it to the right side...when sitting on the quad...

checked the fuel line and it wasnt over the motor, changed the fuel line from the regulator to the motor and now it wont start at all, does it have to be a special line?any way of checking the regulator?this is getting agrivating

The first thing to do is to verify that a good stream of fuel is returning into the tank from the return line.

You must use fuel injection rated fuel line, don????????t use regular fuel line because it won????????t hold up under the pressure of the fuel.
