I thought I finished my build, however upon opening up the clutch cover to adjust the clutch the set screw is gone.

I dont think those tiny pieces could cause any real bad damage....although I should probably tear it back apart and try and find the tiny pieces, however they have probably been ground to filings by now. Any advice?

Magnetic drain plug and try fishing around with a telescoping magnet.

Yeah, I'd pull your side case. My clutch screw was missing and it fell through my oil scavange gear

When I turned the gear with my hand, it sheared right before my eyes letting me know I was about 1 minute away from a non oiled transmission. The motor can be in and out in a day if you're determined, and unless you run the plastic gears it would probably be good to take a good look in there. Just my .02. Good luck.
