Polished Side Cover
Well, I spent WAY too much time screwing with this. The cover came out fairly well and will look even better if I spend some more time on it, but I'm officially burned out on this one! I could have my motor assembled by now, but couldn't stop myself once I got started.

Thanks...It definitely takes too long. In normal light, the polish actually looks better - but the flash of the camera really brought out the fine sanding lines.

I never knew the sight glass was at one time put up there. That must've been a retrofit to the original cover since the check screw is still there.

Oh yah, that one will get real muddy - going back into my X440s. That sight glass (not yet re-installed in the pic) is a kit from Canniboomer.
