Cannondaleriders

I was changing my oil today and went to take the transmission oil filter out and all that was left was a few pieces of the filter. The bike ran great before for three days in the dunes. I tried flushing it out but nothing else will come out. I also took the clutch cover off and everything looks good. Anyone ever have this happen? What should I do? I don't want to pull the motor. I'm sending the motor to Southbay in the fall, so should I just ride it and see what happens?

I would pull the motor and clean the spraybar that oils all the gears.I absolutly HATE those filters have from day one.

Yep, as I just found out....it happens to others. I was lucky,mine came out in one piece. Unless you plan on alot of tranny work later, pull it out. Good Luck Man.
