were does this plug into

Engine, intake, exhaust, EFI, chain, sprockets, etc.

i know one goes to the starter relay bigger one but what goes to the smaller one

really hard to tell from the pics but if they are really long they might run down the left side in from of the motor and plug in near the battery. One plug is for the solonoid and the other is a power feed from the battery.

Make sure you plug in the heavy gauge red wires to the other heavy gauge red wires down by the battery. Otherwise you send power to ground and burn a section of the main harness.

Yep good warnings, and just beware the bigger one in your first picture does NOT go to the starter solenoid!
You might have a later starter relay now, with the identical (and confusing) same plug as the battery connector? Your small connector in the 2nd picture is for the earlier-version solenoid relay. If you want to convert the harness plug to match a later solenoid, I have the plug-insul-pins kit for that.

ok thanks alot for the help i was looking at a new style and it looked like it wouldnt plug in thanks alot for the help you guys

i accidentally switched mine and it smoked...it still runs great and i havent had any problems yet....where should I look on my harness to make sure everything is okay?
