Starting Problem!!

i turn the key and everything turns on. but when i try to start it i hear 1 click on the starter solenoid/starter. so i bought a new solenoid thinking that was it but still have same problem. sometimes there is a spark on the starter cable. Please help! thanks

Just get a volt meter and start testing. Sounds like you have a break in the wiring somewhere, or a simple bad connection somewhere.

sounds like a bad battery. had a similar problem down in glamis a week ago. if you can have the battery load tested.

Have you verified the engien isnt hydro locked or siezed?

I didn't think about that. 13vete you can take off the flywheel cover, if you don't know its on the right side,black with 4 screws holding it on. Once you get it off I think its a 17mm nut you can turn it with a ratchet.

the battery is good. i'll check the wiring with a meter and check the flywheel. thanks for they help guys!
