My head was left intact, the cam timing marks line up like they should in the manual. The timing chain idler gear mark does not line up like the manual, do I need to worry about this, does it matter as I dont think it was aligned when I took the motor apart. I am using stock timing.

Thanks!!

did you take anything apart? I really dont think it matters if the chain idler matches up, just as long as the cams and idler are in sync...and the engine is locked at TDC...but if its that far apart, you should just adjust everything so its correct. Now would also be a good time to degree your cams and make sure they are set at 106/106....if your engine is stock.
