My dumb butt forgot to label the connections on the solonoid.. there are two waterproof 2 pin connectors... they are the same, what goes to what? there is a thick loom and and thinner, longer loom.

Think I figured it out. There is one connected directly to the battery terminal.. so common sense tell me that it would get conneected to the other 12 guage wire. and the thinner would connect, no?

The one from the battery will connect to the one with the two large red wires in it. If you hook them up to the small blue and red wire connector Very Bad things will happen. Cannondale did make a rookie mistake by not making the wiring connectors foolproof .

What is the fix for this? The bad things I've found so far is a bright flash when hooking up the battery and smoking the ground wire up to the splice (SP4 by the diagram). What is the fix, besides a new harness? I have a donor harness I can strip wire and connectors from.
