just put the motor back in the blaze after getting the valves adjusted checked the fuel got good flow,got a good spark but no start.

Maybe you have the injectors reversed,or the crank position sensorsor mixed up with the temp.sensor(I did that).

I did check the crank sensor and temp but not the injectors

changed to injectors pugs still not starting. But every so many cranks and it will pop a little

I'm taking it that the blaze ran before the valve adjustment. Was the valve clearances ok or did you have to adjust them?

it ran started and ran perfectly before and I had Colby at CD racing do it. He said it needed 4 shims in it.

From what see if your plugged in correctly the first step here is a compresion test.

if the valves are not right will this cause it not start

I have not seen valves needing adjustment much regardless of mileage so when all 4 needed to be reshimmed thats the first red flag. If the valves were shimmed then cams were removed .To do so cam timing can be set wrong hence a compresion check will tell you everything you need to know. Compression lower than 50psi will for sure cause a no start /backfire/fouled plug. Was this engine updated ?
