Well, I finally found the time to pull my deluxe cannondale lego set out of the closet and assemble a quad. It's alive! And it started on the third touch of the button (a little different story than the last time I tackled this project).

Problem: I do have quite a fuel leak. I wrestled the motor in there by myself and was apparently a little hard on the fuel line. The tee is leaking furiously above the left injector. Before I started throwing parts around again, I figured someone on here could tell me: Can you access the fuel rail by taking the throttle body off or is this a motor drop?

Yes, you can. You might have to pull the whole fuel rail out, injectors and all, to get to the spot on the rail that you need to though. Take it from the fuel pump to the regulator if you you have to pull the whole rail. I was told that if you pull the bungs off of the injectors, the o-rings in the bungs will swell up and you'll have to change them out. So unless you have new ones I'd avoid that. Better off pulling the entire injector out. Put a little dielectric grease on the injector o-rings when reinstalling. Good luck.

On second thought, when you say "tee" or you talking about the bung? The metal thing on top of the injector? Is it leaking at the line or between the bung and the injector? Like I said, there is an o-ring in there. That might be the problem.

Thanks! I tore into it. The air box/TB won't come out completely, but I have a small window to work with. The line between the two bungs has a crack in the top of it. Should be able to replace the line with the injectors still in if I can get the stock hose crimps off. Going to be one of those frustrating - standing on your head type of repairs, but I think its better than pulling the motor out again.

Why won't the TB come off. There's three clamps. Air box to TB, TB to rubber boot, rubber boot to engine. You should be able to get to the lowest one, rubber boot to engine, and pull out the whole sha-bang. Don't know how you're gonna get the euro clamps off without clear access.

Getting to the lowest one was easy, but the whole mess wont fit through the hole. The steering column gets in the way. I couldn't get to the top hose clamp to separate the two because of the way it was situated. Finally found a flexible extension and got the two apart. Bike is running great!
