TC vs. HMF

#1 Post by HouserCannondale »

what do you guys recommend for a good mx exhaust? right now i have an hmf full system but i know the tc is a really good pipe and i like how they look and sound. would it be worth selling the hmf and getting a tc? noise is no problem the bike is used strictly for mx. thanks.

I'm now a firm believer in the TC exhaust for MX racing. IMO it pulls harder than the HMF on the bottom and mid-range.

No, not really. I have a variation of a Moto map in ours right now. You can still run the Moto/Speed map if you want.

oh ok thanks. one more question. i know the tc is a slip on right? what headpipe does it require. i have the hmf full system. right now could i use the hmf headpipe or do i need stock cannondale headpipe from one of the older bikes??

It's a slip-on. I believe you can use the HMF headpipe, I think it's the same as the 2002 Cannibal. The headpipe that mates to the round silencer is the one you need.

Yep, the HMF headpipe will work. I sold one to a guy that is using this setup, and verified it. Should be good to go for ya!
