Out of curiosity, does anyone know what size needle bearings are needed to convert a bushing basket to a needle bearing one? Noticed that when the bushing is removed that it is a smaller diameter than the baskets I have with needle bearings.

The needle bearings for the clutch basket are used in the later models and are a K25x29x10 bearing. Unfortunately you cannot just press out the bushing and install the bearings. You need to machine out the center of the basket an additional amount to use the bearings. Be warned the basket is heat treated and you run the risk of premature bearing failure due to the surface being softer after machining..... My opinion, just get a basket already bearing ready from the factory.

****. That's what I figured but thanks for the info. Bushing was too worn to use it as is.
