first problem

Well, ran into the first problem with the Dale, leakin antifreeze into the motor. Any ideas what could be goin on? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Magnesium valve cover has rotted thru.

It's pretty bad, I can fill the tank and in about 15 minutes it's empty again, the oil is MILKY!!!! Lol I hope it's as easy as the valve cover!!

Do I HAVE to drop the motor to change the valve cover or can it be done in the frame?

I have done it but it's not the easiest way. Plus you have to be very careful with the gaskets went putting it back together to avoid possible leaks..

Sounds like the valve cover. Possible cracked sleeve? does it smoke?

Nope, doesn't smoke, runs like it always has, just drains all the coolant into the case

How far can ya drop the cradle without unhooking everything? Can it be dropped enough to get to the valve cover bolts?
