Where's the most common place for a major short in the harness? While in the dunes, was ridein along and boom, no power, popped the main fuse. Put two or three in it and as soon as I turned the key on, pop. It sat all day friday, put a fuse in it saturday, it's fine, as long as you don't turn the key all the way for lights. Is there a common place to start to try to debunk it?
Been there . CHeck the harness for the tailight. WHere it is zip tied along the subframe it will rub through and short out . Its caused by loose zip ties and lots of vibration. Not good to put the headlight fuse in with the engine fuse. So in the dead of night while tacking it out on a tight trail the headlight and engine kills at the same time. It happened to me at Magestic trails.
