Dang those CP Pistons!

Engine, intake, exhaust, EFI, chain, sprockets, etc.

I pulled a motor apart a few weeks ago only to find the worst destruction I have ever seen in a Dale motor. I'm never using an oval CP piston again! LOL


I tired to re-ring it, but the rings wouldn't fit! Darn those CP pistons!

The liner is even special built for the oval piston. We can hone it though!

The head won't hold compression......

Lastly, do you all really think I have to flush the frame? Or can I get away with an extra oil change?

I recommend a quick oil change and new rings on that piston and you should be good lmao jk

I'm not real experienced with the internals of a motor. Is there something wrong with these pictures?

I agree with Rayspeed, that thing had to have been dragged around with the broken valves doing a number on everything

Exactly what Tim said. Probably wide open in 5th gear and doesn't know what a clutch lever is when it blew.

I found the timing chain guide completely in pieces, so my guess is it was rattling and slowly detonating before it went.
