What would be the cause of my starter squealing while its turning over the motor? I remove the starter, its cleans and spins freely by hand.

Yep quit using start button and first make sure internal one way bearing in motor is not seized and motor not hydrolocked. Pull flywheel cover and rotate flywheel manual clockwise.. then next is to check for one way slippage after plopping out the start clutch under the 3 bolt cover.. call as need good luck

Each time this has happened to me it was oil on the piston. Pulled the plug, covered the hole with towels, and then cranked it over. Oil shot out and then reinstalled everything and fired up. Just a small suggestion that requires 10-15mins to check for.
