I have gotten a whole slew of motors in the shop lately with valve train damages. Most are from a lack of maintenance or cheapo rebuilds. No fun buying lots of expensive parts...


First motor was an abomination. Ran it with all kinds of noises and finally went boom. Worst internal damaged engine I have seen....

Lack of oil changes (sludge one finger digit deep in the head and crank valley), led to a stuck bucket and wasted FX400 cams.

Thank god mine didn't look like that when I broke it down!!! Lol OUCH!!!!

For that first pic I'd say they towed that sucker around for fun after the initial failure
