What is the torque spec for the four nuts holding the exhaust flange to the cylinder head?

Hmmn I don't know the spec, but that is a "feel" thing, and also good to watch for excess deflection... less torque is better. I just hate those solid copper sealwashers that somebody started suggesting, since they need more torque for the same seal -- never intended for our delicate connection back there. With the OEM crush gaskets, you don't need to bend the header plate as much, or cause bending of the header studs to get the same seal. Each time you have to put a header into your bench vise to straighten it out again, that plate will fatigue a little more -- so it's not good for the header. And having to tap inward the head studs just to yank off a header,... should not be necessary. I would use crushable gaskets only, which do not block the flow on 95% of the heads out there.
