Redline is the best, and i don't doubt him. I like to change early and often however, and prefer Amsoil 20-50 synthetic in both compartments. It's $20 gallon and i don't have to plan ahead to have it on hand.

I swear by Redline as you've seen me in other posts. The stuff is amazing.

I have used with good success so far Mobil1 red cap in the motor and Motul Gearbox oil. I just recently switch to Amsoil and I can say I am impressed so far bike seems to run a little cooler.

WD40 for the chain and that "wet look" on the plastics.

As Ryan said, I run Redline, 10w40 in the motor and Shockproof in the tranny. I've been using the Superlight Shockproof, I think most everyone else uses Lightweight.

I've been really impressed with the Shockproof, it sticks to everything and stays there. I was also told a long time ago that the engineers at Cannondale liked the Redline.

I'm no oil expert though, and I imagine any high quality synthetic will do just fine.

I run the Redline 40 wt race in the top and the superlight shockproof in the bottom and love it.

I'm using Mobil1 red cap in the motor and some Klotz 2stroke tranny oil in the tranny side, cause it smells awesome! smile.gif
