I run the Honda 4 stroke synthetic.....I run the Silkolene gear lube in the bottom end...........JIM

ok....next question....it sez to use non-hypoid gear oil. wtf is the difference...i wanna sound intelligent at the store;)

was just wondering...i reckon they wouldnt have said that in the manual if it wasnt necassary...lol oh well....ill figure it out.

Hypoid oil is for auto trannys. It is just an additive I think. No good if you want to find nuetral. I used it by mistake once and changed it right out cause it was a pain in the neck to hit nuetral.

Kenny,

I use Klotz 15w50 fully synthetic in the engine and the Honda 85w tranny oil for....welll.....the tranny. Just make sure you run synthetic Motor oil. It's all good stuff.

I'll be selling Redline oil here pretty quick....you wanna talk about some good oil!!!!
