I had a KTM 500 stroker engine fitted for a short while. Tried to fit the
LC4 640 block but it sat too tall in the frame.
With the power (and sound) available from a C'dale engine, why change?

I think it is a lot more fun trying to get as much power as you can from the 'Dale engine rather than jumping to larger CC's - if I wanted to do that I could have got a Raptor and fitted it with a FCR and a piston and called it a day.

It is like Euro taking his rotary and spanking a BBC - the satisfaction of engineering the most out of the least is quite nice smile.gif

My next project will be fitted with a 49.99cc block and I'll be gearing it up to the moon.....anything to have a Land Speed Record on my name.
Serious though, look at this:
Engine Class Rider Manufacturer Year Speed
50CC__ S-BF__ H. Muller NSU 8/56 121.700

121.700 mph on a 50? I'd like to see that!
