o.k fellas , i just talked to haydug about his engine stand, and if you own a cdale it sounds like something you would really like to have if you are gonna be doing any work on it or maybe even transporting it ? haydug can have these stands made if there is a large enough demand , so i'm gonna start a pole and we'll go from there! smile.gif

Price is always good to include as it is a large factor in the majority of purchases smile.gif

I remember Kyle at R/S looked into having some made. To match the factory stand was like 700$ or somethin! don't think so.

$250.00

What does this stand do?

I mean I understand the concept of having the engine bolted to some sort of plate so it won't try and move when installing or removing bolts.

But that just seems a little pricey for something that just holds the engine. Now maybe we could bolt some wheels on this stand so that while we have the motor bolted to the stand we could do test rides before we bolted the motor back in the frame.smile.gif

I knew a guy who worked on a lot of street bike motors. He built an attachment that would fit on one of those car engine stands (the ones that you can turn the motor upside down to service the crank stuff). This thing that he built would hold all kinds of small engines because it was adjustable.
