Hey Guys,

For some reason all of a sudden I am getting a lot of cracks coming outta nowere in my hoses... The cracks are only forming right near the nipples were the hoses mount on the rad.

Its not leaking real bad,but do ya'll think I can pick some hoses up from Advanced or soemthing to fix her up?

best solution, tighten her just a bit, then slap a hose clamp around the cap, tighten lightly, then finish snugging up the cap just a bit.....we have done this a ton.

hoses, just hit up one of the cdale dealers on here, or get some braided line to upgrade. never heard of em cracking unless they are too tight.

Just picked up a 03' that has been sitting on a showroom floor.Took the engine out to do stage 8.All the vacuum hoses had dry rot.Just something to check if you pick one of these leftovers up.wink.gif

Sad to say but my full time job is at the Company that used to make the fuel and vacuum hoses formerly Dayco.I let them know about the junk they are selling.

Yeah just go back and go through all the prebent heater hoses. You should be able to find something that will work.

you could, but i'd look kind of ghetto. finding the right hose with the correct bends would be like looking for the needle in the hay stack. it'd work till you found a good deal on a factory set though. all my vent hoses are dryrotten also.
