Dale Won't Start Unless You Jump Start It!!!!!!!!!

I JUST GOT THIS 02 SPEED TODAY, AND I CAN'T GET IT TO START UNLESS I JUMP IT, IT HAS THE 2ND BATT SETUP ALREADY DONE TO IT, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW GOOD THE BATTERIES ARE, COULD YOU GUYS GIVE ME SOME IDEAS ON HOW TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS??? STARTER DRAWING TOO MUCH CURRENT???, BAD RELAY??? BAD BATTERIES???, PLEASE HELP!!!!!

OH BY THE WAY I DOES START ON ITS OWN SOMETIMES AFTER IT SITS, BUT YOU CAN LET IT RUN FOR A WHILE AND SHUT IT OFF AND TRY TO START IT AGAIN IMMEDIATELY, AND IT WON'T START. IT WIERD.

are you giving it ANY throttle while trying to start it?

the batteries aren't charged enough. trickle charge them. the front battery doesn't get charged by the machine so after every ride it needs to be charged. jump starting it and riding it around the yard WON'T charge the batteries! if you just trail ride i'd get rid of the second battery. it's mainly for xc racings dead engine starts. derno found out the hard way that the batteries need to be fully charged. maybe he'll chime in...
