Headlights off Stalls?

Ok since i had my dale the thing bogs and just dies with the headlights off. If i turn them on,no problem,runs perfect. Ironicaly, maybe coincidently, one headlight went out. It still ran fine. Now both headlights are out. I dont know if this is just cuz i cracked the bulbs or the just burnt out or what. But no i have no headlights,but if the ignition is in the headlight on position its fine. Any help's appreciated,thanks.

I would have to guess that your switch is going bad. You can know for sure by using a voltmeter/ohmmeter and seeing if it is working propery.

A long time ago, Birdog5150 i think, had a similar problem. I see him here sometimes. Shoot him a email/pm.

Try taking the 4 screws out of the back of the key switch & cleaning the contacts with steel wool.

thanks a lot ill have to check it out. i'll let you know how it goes...btw will my local dealer be able to get me headlight bulbs?

Local dealer for what? I don't know if he can get you bulbs but I am sure he can get you lit!
