i was just wondering how a speed with a 2mm stoker, 450 kit, ported head with reangled injectors, some throttle body mods would stand against some modified 450s any know or some thoughts even would be good thanks fellas

It wouldn't stand, it would move-right past all of the other quads!

LOL, the motor you described is pretty much what Haydug and I are both running right now and it is very competetive with the other modified 450's, faster than most.

Cannondale27 and I watch Haydug hit the strait at the 12 hour behind 2 other 450's and he pulled them both for the pass at the end of the strait. I also think my quad was geared a little off and could have pulled better on top. I was running 14/38's with 18" tires and we swapped to 20" for the race and it wasn't pulling 5th as good as it could have.

Haydug also said at one point he was at WOT and a YFZ blew past him, not sure what that setup was.

Yup Haydug went right on by even though they tried to squeeze him into the fence.Best pass I saw all day!

everyone around adams county (southern ohio, sixty miles east of cinny) has a 400 ex or a new 450 and all they 450s their their bad because they have a jet kit, exhauts and a cdi air box, im ready to way their rear ends!!

I'm running 14/41 with a 465cc Timbo engine, felt like it would pull taller gearing. Tim fired up a new 465cc engine this Sunday,with 14/40 gears,,,, it's the bomb for that size. .:hammer:
