What oil do you use/recommend.
Should I use a semi synthetic or full synthetic?

I like Mobil 15-50 (red cap) in the engine and
Golden Spectro 80w gear oil for the transmission.

Maxima 10w-40 semi synthetic. Or could use full synthetic.$$$$
Maxima 80w racing tranny.
I like the oils and recommend them. Not very spendy either.

10-30 Mobile or Castrol full synthetic. I have been useing synthetic blend 85w in the tranny. Should I not use the blend and go w/ standard 85w??

Im running full synthetic Redline in both the tranny and the engine. I understand that this is what Cannondale went to though I cant confirm it.

I pay about 8 dollars a quart.

www.amsoil.com It is the BEST !!!!! They make Quad oil that is tranny rated. For ice racing I am using the 0w-40 in the motor and tranny. in the summer we run the 10w-40 in both. Go on line and check them out. Call tech service, I did, they sold me.

I also use amsoil. 0w-40 in the engine and 20w-50 v-twin oil in the tranny.Never had a problem in 2 seasons of ice racing.

Redline, Redline, Redline! Fully synthetic, and like Lap said...it's the shiznit to use! Cannondale did recommend this oil to us. For the price, it outperforms other synthetic oils in it's price range. And IMO it's the best oil available.

40w(15w-40 equiv) racing oil in the engine, shockproof tranny oil.

JCV, do you guys have any motor oil in stock?

I've got a case of Shockproof, but I'm out of motor oil.
