why does does my muffler get so HOT?

its a blaze and its burning all the rubber from the holder and also made a mark on my gas tank. does that mean its to lean, its not overheating.

sounds burn a piston lean. i thought cannondales were fuel injected

Even fuel injected motors can be set too lean.smile.gif

ok ive read it still a little confusing, but i guess my first step is to look at the plug. then if it looks really lean i need to richen it up with the offset. what i dont get is why all of the sudden its doing this i havent touch of thing besides doing a throttle cal. anyone

Hmmm when you did the recal did you save your exsisting settings. A thought might be that you somehow loaded the wrong flowrate into the ecu when you recal'd

Instead of reading that just recieve all settings look at your flowrate number. If you want to richen it up you decrease the flowrate in 50 increments. If you want to lean it out you go up in value in 50 increments. Start there and let me know. What may answer alot of your questions is to compare your stock settings to what you have now. Get ****** to look them up for you with your vin #
