i was racing and every race my quad would just die i would have to push the start button to get it to go again it did it in all thre practices and the it did it 3 times in the main. need less to say i lost!!!!

whay does it do this? it seams to me it only does it when it is cold?

it has done it a couple of times when i go riding too? one when i was hill climbing.

whats the deal?

mine is an 02 but has the update so it does not do this?

How is your chain adjusted?

what would that have to do with any thing????

Is your Idleing at 2100RPM?

i have no idea what it idles at?

it does it whil moving on the gas? not at an idle.

usaly happens in the first lap on the gas and just dies

Check your battery connections.

chain is right where it should be. still don't know how this could make my quad die at 8000 rpms in secon gear

it idles higher than most quads but maybe a touch lower than it should, some time it idles way higher than normal?

nearest deal is about 8 hours away!!!!

Check your battery connections. there tight?

..if your running race gas,cheack your couplers O rings.....and your vent on you fuel tank cap..

no race gas. i do run about a quart of av gas just to make it smell.

gas cap is fine

what o rings do i check?

Check your battery connections and grounds. Make sure that they are clean. Put a star washer on them to make sure they don't vibrate loose.

on a side note man this quad gets all kinds of attention,

there was a banshee beside me that had a 454 kit in it and over $10000 in it and he was mad bc every one stoped to talk to me about mine and no one said any thing about his!!!!!

wondering if your quad dropped a hex code or some of the map? just a thought
