It's a Cannondale. This is normal, some bikes can't find netural, mine is about 50% of the time. There is a way to shim the shifter, I don't know what it is. Maybe someone who knows will chime in.

i was told to try to find neutral before you stop, in other words while your still moving i heard its easier that way or turn off the quad then do it!! these things seem as picky as my 400ex was to get into neutral while running

I also find it easier to hit neutral from 2nd gear, instead of 1st.

..Mine was easy to get wile still moveing/rolling. Cannon did this so its hard to hit neutral from frist, cant miss 2nd this way..But then again i dont know many ppl that take off in first?

i can do it somtime if im moving.

you all take off in second? you must be lower elv. or way more power?

im at 5000 + feet and my clutch would not last long if i did that?

Its definitely easier to find neutral while still rolling. I can never find it when I'm stopping and I can only find it when I cruising down the trail...when I don't really want to find it. I rarely hit it during hard acceleration like when I'm racing.

that only makes me feel dumber
