Good point Rubicon, but remember you twisted my arm, and I was reluctant to sell the cable yet -- I warned you that the software was not yet downloadable.

But I don't think the software guys were even aware you are holding a paid-for cable -- so to get you started quickest, just send a PM to 02Cannibal, and ask him for an advance email copy of whatever he has available right now.

If this process drags out too long for your needs, you can return the cable, or I can credit against an Optimium D&M kit I have here.

OK guys, we finally have something the programmers are comfortable releasing into the wild. Keep in mind this is a beta software and there will be updates to make the maps load quicker in the future,as well as a few other features we have ideas about.

So,how do you do it? Go to www.ecudiag.com and register, if you haven't already yet. Send kdxboy a PM and he will send you a link to the download. Keep in mind you will need .NET installed on your PC to use it, and that without a cable you can't do a whole lot. You can open maps and play with them, but you can't save them unless a cable is attached to the pc. It's kinda big (5.8 megs) so set aside some time if your on dial up. If you have comments or suggestions, please post them in the "Beta Testers" forum on ecudiag. I am also gonna work on the install and help documentation a little over the next couple weeks.
