Wheel Spacers for C-dale...

#1 Post by sac45310 »

I am looking for someone who has front or rear aluminum wheel spacers. I want the solid kind (not the stud extenders)

If you have any that will fit my 02 Cannibal please let me know...

I'd prefer 2" in the rear and 1" in the front... but let me know what you have!!

You do realize that wheel spacers from a Z400 and 400ex will work, don't you? Also, wheel spacers aren't really a good idea because of the added stress.

I partially agree with Jess, wheel spacers are bad news unless you are using them for TT or flat track, iceracing, all that flat stuff. I occasionally use them to get a quick inch of width on flat track when the conditions warrant it, but I wouldnt use them on MX, thats just asking Murphy to jump on the back of your bike and ride along. I tear up to many parts as it is.

Ive been running graphite lite easy fits on all my dales for years . The stock axle can easily handle the stress unless your going for exteme air. Weve been jumping them at the dunes and mx track with no problems . Just dont do that with Jap machines.

400ex spacers work?..

I didn't know that... are you sure the 400ex spacers work with the 02 cannibal? (I assume you are correct since you are a senior member of this site...)

I'm a c-dale rookie and am just getting into them.

I'm just a trail rider and do some dunes... no big air...

The bolt patterns are exactly the same as honda. I prefer the easy fits because they keep perfect alignment of the spacers and wheels. The one thing you need to do is take a die and cut the threads on the stock studs all the way down. Then tap the stud extenders with a bottoming tap.
I dont like the ones that use long bolts through the hubs because the they become a real pain if you swap tires a lot and they are never straight.

I have a set of some aluminum ones from a company I cant think of. LOL I actually broke a set on a blaster doing MX, to be fair though, I have never used the Durablue extenders, they might be a little stronger than the aluminum. Anyway, after that, I decided that I wouldnt use them on MX. Just my .02, in any case, the extender bolts are scary, I would'nt ride flat track with those let alone anything else.

I am 100% sure that they are the same bolt pattern as a 400ex and Z400. Our wheels are also the same as a Honda Civic and vice versa LOL. My friend put some Civic racing wheels on his z400 just for giggles.
