As far as the 2-wheel c-dales go,were any of them ever raced in the supercross series or the outdoor nationals?Just curious. And if so does anyone have any pics or who the riders were?

They were not ama legal. AMA has some rule about making so many bikes to make them legal and Cannondale didn't meet the requirement.

Yes, they were AMA legal. Keith Johnson ran a few of the AMA Pro-Nationals and also some 4-stroke Nationals. Sorry, I don't have any pics.

Keith Johnson rode under a "works bike" rule which allows manufacturers to ride a bike for 1 year before going into production. Doug Henry done the same on the YZF 400 before Yamaha produced them. I tried to run a National on my Cannondale and was turned away from Tech. inspection. I had to borrow a bike for the weekend. The 4-stroke nationals are a different story though. They had a few fast guys riding them there, there is even rumors that Robbie Reynard rode one a couple of times.
