who else here has this happen to them?

Engine, intake, exhaust, EFI, chain, sprockets, etc.

I dented up my Big Gun slip on. We moved it higher and it didnt hit again. Then the dam# thing blew apart. (common problem with them in the beginning) So I bought a HMF complete system. Installed it in the stock position and it hit. So we raised it too. We also had a problem with the bottom header tube rubbing on the shock. Had to put a flat spot in the lower tube. But now all is well biggrin.gif

how do you guys go about raising the muffler up..do you have to move the headpipe or what?..or as dale27 said i already hit it good this time and it wont happen again..

loosened up head pipe on motor and where slip on part connects. remounted higher and tighten. I was very surprised that I dont have a head pipe leak at the motor !

sounds good man..ill be getting an exhaust soon enough ( probably tc) and just dont want to ding that up too..so any fix is a good fix..smile.gif
