I know a fella that has a set of used Janssen +3 for $300, don't know if that is a good price or not.

I do tech for the neatv series, heres how it works. if you go with a +3 you will have to run a 4-1 offset wheel to be under 50in. if you run a +2 you will be 50in with your stock wheels and save some money on wheels.

I would go with the +3 if your going to be a big jumper! less stress on the wheel bearings and spindles. Also a very little bit better handling.

Also, there will be less twitch in the feedback from the wheels.

So basically, disregarding width, it is better to keep the tire under the spindle, hub, etc. as much as possible.

Yes, that is a good assumption to make. and Jansen sucks, a friend of mine (who I do ride with) had a set on his 400 and they bent, he wasn't even jumping high, but it bent on landing and then Jansen wouldn't replace it.
