The last 3 dales I snapped up have cost me a grand total of $5,800 total.
An early 2002 cable clutch 10hr stock machine with stickers still on the bottom a-arms - $1,500
Freshly rebuilt Falicon Crank, Houser +3 LT, Moto Ohlins, LSR axle and brand new fullbores, D&M kit and a boxload of parts - $2,500
This one $1,800

Hey the hp to cost ratio is there and effective. It takes a lot of money to get a jap quad to get the power these mildly modded dales (450 stroker etc) have. If you like messing with them they are worth the money.
It makes me smile passing a quad a person has thousands in when I just have a fraction of that.
