Examples of what not to do to your new motor
Well, I finally tore down a motor I was dreading to tear into and I found some goodies that I thought I would share..
Anybody know what these are (except you motor buildes from WI...LOL)?

I'll give you a hint, here is his head design.....

It's hard to see in the pic but look at the oil squirters in the head....

After realizing who built the motor, I never even started it up. The guy who sold it to me said it ran strong. How much longer do you think it would have ran that way?

I had to "sanitize" this thing, so I added my own brand over the Diamond...LOL

QUOTE (Wayne Schofield @ Nov 4 2007, 05:39 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Oh yes Ken, how's Derno getting on testing that thar thingy?
Derno has another 6 hour race coming up where they will try and run it the whole race this time. He just had a new set of A-arms made that are super beefy and are +1" long travel patterned after the Houser style with "normal" ball joints and camber adjustable. It should be a fun race. I think the race is in Texas.
Wistech, are you ready for another steel sleeve? It's time for another 98mm motor....
Wayne, the three ring pistons are Wiseco manufactured and are either very early models or aftermarket. The one in the picture is a 450cc kit from Big Winky. It uses a steel sleeve instead of an aluminum one as well.
